How to subscribe to The AudPod If your new to podcasts, here's a short primer on what it's all about in simple terms. Pod casts are simply shows distributed over the internet instead of over the airways such as TV and radio. The term "Podcast is a take off the the term "Broadcast". A Podcast show can be received by anyone with a computer or computer driven device such as certain cell phones and other devices like Apple TV, etc. Many people think they need an IPod to listen to a PODcast. Not true. You can listen on any computer running software designed to retrieve podcasts. In fact, you can simply download an episode of The AudPod simply by clicking on the episode from the AudPod's webpage. An IPod, or any MP3 player for that matter, simply allows you to then take your podcasts with you on the go. We recommend however, that listeners "subscribe" to podcasts. That way you get a new episode delivered directly to you each week, always ready for you to listen when you want to. We recommend using iTunes to subscribe and manage podcasts for the following reasons; It's free, it's a fast download, it runs on PC's or Macs, and it's simple to configure.
