3/5/07  WCSL CEO has sports car mishap on way to work

CEO Paul Doty was uninjured, but visibly upset this week concerning a mishap he had with his 350Z sports car while negotiating a corner just before the WCSL shop driveway.  "I've taken that corner every day of my life at triple digits with zero problems" stated Doty.  "The one thing you don't want to see at those speeds is a guy in the driveway pushing a shopping cart full of cans".  His car on the other hand, although burned beyond recognition, seemed very happy, and kept announcing "You have arrived at your destination, you have arrived at your destination, you have arrived at....."....  3/26/07  WCSL employee sustains minor injuries, company announces abandonment of the Neptune 5000 Finalizer

WCSL's own engineer Reno Bianchi has announced he will retire from sound work this year after a mishap with the Neptune Finalizer.  "We've had a number of problems with the Finalizer series over the past few years" stated CEO Paul Doty Tuesday.  We decided to discontinue the product entirely after several employee's began having headaches while using the device at shows..... 3/10/07  Neptune Corp. announces the new Neptune 1 Million Series Finalizer

Neptune announced this week a total recall on all previous versions of the Neptune Finalizer due to what they called "a distinct flaw in it's design"  All problems supposedly have been addressed in the new Finalizer, however the company has issued a statement that the standard rack sise if 19" may have to be increased to accommodate the new product..... Hughson's "First Church Of The Last Chance" has hired WCSL to address some of it's issues caused by shawdy work done by it's previous general contractor.  While WCSL quickly repaired the churches faulty sound & video system, it was at a loss of what to do about it's code violations concerning the restrooms..... 3/28/07  WCSL booked for April Sanjaya Malakar tour

WCSL has been chosen as production provider for the April-May Sanjaya "If You can Shave, Your Too Old Too Be Here" Tour, kicking off in Federal Way WA.  When WCSL's Andy Cross asked booking agency William Morris "How can we start in April? Isn't he still on the show?" A representative answered, "Comon', He's a geek, but he's not stupid."

On a related note, Warner announced Thursday that they have booked Sanjaya to star as Mowgli in their upcoming adaptation of Jungle book.

3/19/07 WCSL on tour with "Star Wars on Ice"

The Star Wars character Chewbacca threw out the first pitch at Fenway last night to promote a Museum of Science exhibit. Han Solo watched on.

WCSL is currently teaming with Modesto native George Lucas to provide production for the national touring ice show "Star Wars On Ice".  Lucas hired the company after seeing it's arena sound & light rig on tour last year with "Disney On Ice", a show that actually featured the real Walt Disney.

10/30/06  CEO Paul Doty take's Leslie's place this year working with students at Lakewood School
