WCSL sounds really good.   You should use us.   Heck, just about everybody does.   But then again, theres always going to be somebody thats just to dang cheap to care about quality sound so they drive their van over to the local music store and fill it up with a bunch of pieced together junk that sounds just a little bit better than fingernails scratching down a chalkboard...............................But that's just our opinion..............................You spend your money were you want to

WCSL Manager Matt Cross takes on part time work at Jamba Juice

This week, WCSL manager Matt Cross will take over the night shift at the Modesto Brendan Theater location Jamba Juice. Owner Paul Doty bombarded with offers to purchase WCSL in 2005

WCSL owner Paul Doty has fielded no fewer than six offers over the past three months to buy West Coast Sound & Light.  Doty commented Thursday; "When folks found out we were acquiring Clair Brothers the offers just started pouring out of the woodwork.  Offers ran the spectrum of both ends of ridiculous as local businesses Tri-Valley & Gallo teamed to make an offer rumored to include an entire Winery. On the other end of the spectrum a smaller local sound company made a $4559.00 offer that also included a van........(More)

WCSL to employ "Neptune Finalizer" in sound rigs for 2005

WCSL will employ new "state of the art" Finalizer 5000's in all their A rig front of house racks this year a company spokesperson said Monday.  The new devices completely eliminate the needs for any type of system upgrades in the future.  WCSL is also on the waiting list for the new "Ultra Finalizer" when it becomes available in the summer. Harvest Christian Center in
Turlock California trades in line array rig for in-ceiling speakers

After six months of high fidelity sound from their new Monarc Line Array rig, Harvest has traded in the entire system on 70volt in-ceiling speakers.  "The sound was just too clear" we were told by the church sound crew.  "People would complain that they could finally hear this, and finally hear that."  After going over to the in-ceiling system, things are finally back to normal! Fresno California says "Yes" to audience in-ear monitor system

Bethany Church took order this week of 1000 Shure in-ear monitor systems, one for every member of the congregation.  The unique solution to the buildings unique acoustic problem was the brain-child of WCSL engineer Reno Bianci. (More)

WCSL booked to provide production for the 2005 "Southern Idol tour"

WCSL provides a Monarc Linearray rig for the Alabama leg of the "Southern Idol Tour", the lesser known offshoot of the popular American Idol series.  The 6 concert series will feature Southern Idol winner Starlene "Orca" Huggins.  Starlene's unique guttural grunting style won over the voting audience last fall with an amazing 169 letters..(More)
